We are a practical, hands-on program, where students work with a great variety of cameras, sound gear, supporting rigs, lighting, and editing platforms from the get-go. However, we also have a few classes where students study.

The Department of Film & Moving Image (FMI) kicked off the 2023-2024 Academic Year with a record-breaking incoming class. It seems that more and more students are choosing us to help prepare for a future career in any of .

Every spring semester, FMI302 (Narrative Production) students (juniors and seniors) shoot two films based on the scripts that won our fall screenwriting contest. The winners last fall were Riley Frutiger, for The Show Must Go.

Last night, the members of the FMI Class of 2023 screened their Senior Capstone films in the Inscape Theatre of our Greenspring Campus. The event was hosted by Professor Dina Fiasconaro, who taught this year's class.
