[Trend presentation at Boscov’s by theVisual Merchandising class at Stevenson University]

What do you want to do for the rest of your life? How much money do you want to make? Who are you going to be? These were the daunting questions running through my head just three years ago in my senior year of high school. I was overwhelmed to say the least. To be honest, I did not have a clue. I knew I wanted to pursue some type of career in business, but the few classes I had taken at my local community college did not interest me.

So what does one do when the one thing they thought they had figured out ends up being a mistake? I hit the Internet. I researched every college on the east coast and the list of majors they offered. I knew something had to stick out and what do you know, it did. Stevenson University’s Fashion Merchandising program offered me what I felt was the best of both worlds. It gave me the chance to pursue what I thought was always just a fun hobby as a career – fashion. I always knew I was not a designer, so I thought that meant I could not have a career in the fashion industry. I was wrong.

The Fashion Merchandising program at Stevenson has allowed me to learn everything about the business world, and how to apply it to my area of interest. Hopefully, Stevenson can be the answer you’ve been looking for too! For more information on this major, click the link below.
