Please join the chemistry department and all of the SOS at the Homecoming Tailgate before the game this Saturday. It is being held on the Owings Mills North campus this year, just a short walk across the Dell Family Pathway, .

Lab services staff member and chemistry alumna Sarah (Woods) Brush (BS'11, MS'12) celebrated the birth of her son, Cole this June with husband Joe. Sarah also received a promotion from Laboratory Specialist to Laboratory Safe.

We recently visited biochemistry graduate Janice Laforteza (center) (BS '15), who spent the summer before her senior year as a Quality Systems Intern at the Living Legacy Foundation, the Organ and Tissue Procurement Organizat.

We recently visited biochemistry graduate Mandie Combs-Bosse (left) (BS '15), who spent the summer before her senior year in an internship at AthenaES, under the supervision of Dr. Sheldon Broedel (right).

Congratulations to SU chemistry alum Brandon Smith (BS'13/MSFS'14) and biochemistry alum Ciara (Faupel) Smith (BS'16) on their marriage. Their ceremony was held on July 21, 2017 at Herrington on the Bay.
