Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship

Stevenson University is proud to offer applicants wishing to major in Theatre and Media Performance an opportunity to apply and audition for scholarships of $2,000 per year. Awards can be combined with other Stevenson merit-based awards and are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate, non-accelerated study.

Applicant Instructions

To be considered for a Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship, students must:

To be eligible for the Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
  • Have submitted all applications materials for University Admissions by January 15, 2021.
  • Schedule a Zoom audition and interview with Ryan Clark, Program Coordinator via email  Students will be asked to perform ONE monologue totaling 1-2 minutes in length.  The monologue should be from a contemporary published play.  Following your performance of the monologue, faculty will conduct an acting coaching session where the student will be asked to make adjustments to their performance.  The audition will conclude with a questions and answer session between the student and the faculty.

To be considered for the Theatre and Media Performance scholarship, students must have all application materials for university admission, including the essay, submitted by January 15. The deadline for completing the audition is March 1. The Admissions Office encourages you to complete your application by the priority scholarship deadline of December 1. Submitting all materials by December 1 allows you to receive an admission decision and academic merit-based scholarship notification, if eligible, by December 25.
