Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship

Stevenson University is proud to offer applicants wishing to major or minor in Theatre and Media Performance an opportunity to apply and audition for scholarships of $2,000 per year. Awards can be combined with other Stevenson merit-based awards and are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate, non-accelerated study.

Applicant Instructions

To be considered for a Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship, students must:

• Have submitted all applications materials for University Admissions.
• Submit the Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship Application by March 8.
• Finalists will be notified via email if they have been selected to move on to the audition round. Selected finalists will be asked to memorize and perform ONE monologue totaling 1-2 minutes in length. The monologue should be from a contemporary published play. Following your performance of the monologue, faculty will conduct an acting coaching session where the student will be asked to make adjustments to their performance. The audition will conclude with a questions and answer session between the student and the faculty.
