Seamless Transfer with Maryland and U.S. Accredited Community Colleges

All students transferring with an A.A., A.S., or A.A.T. degree from a Maryland Community College or accredited community college in the United States, which also meets the minimum State of Maryland requirements, will have met all of Stevenson’s general education (Stevenson Educational Experience) requirements.

Please note a second composition course is required if the student doesn’t have an equivalent course as part of the associate’s degree.

Carroll Community College

Carroll Transfer Plus

The Carroll Transfer Plus dual-admission partnership allows students who have completed their A.A., A.S., or A.A.T. degree (or their A.A.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Graphics) at Carroll to transfer seamlessly. Current Carroll Community College students can apply today! 

Benefits include: 

  • Guaranteed admission to Stevenson 
  • Transfer of all the credits from your Associate degree. 
  • Pre-transfer advising from Stevenson, so you’ll know in real time how all your credits apply to your bachelor’s degree. 
  • Register at Stevenson at the same time as rising juniors. 
  • Receive a Stevenson ID and participate in campus events while still a Carroll student. 

Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Nursing pathways are not available through Transfer Plus; however, all transfer students are eligible for our Transfer Advantage benefits. Contact transfer admissions.

Degrees to Succeed

The Degrees to Succeed dual-admission program allows students who have completed an A.A. or A.S. degree, or an A.A.S. in Accounting, Criminal Justice Studies, Cybersecurity, Digital Media, Human Services, or Legal Studies are also eligible. Current CCBC students can apply today! 

Benefits include:

Government Partnerships

  • Students in Stevenson’s B.S. in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics will receive a DC3 Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence Certificate of Completion once they have completed all degree program requirements. 
  • Students who have been certified through DC3’s Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy will be able to use up to 15 credit hours from DC3 toward fulfilling the 120 credit hours required for Stevenson’s B.S. in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.

Loyola University

Master of Accounting Program

Stevenson students who meet specific requirements can apply for Fast Track Admissions to Loyola’s Master of Accounting (“MAcc”) program.

Bridgewater College

Up to two (2) suitably-qualified and duly-enrolled, full-time Stevenson students who satisfy specific criteria will be accepted for early admission or guaranteed consideration in Bridgewater’s Master of Science in Athletic Training

Loyola University

Emerging Leaders MBA Programs

Stevenson students who meet specific requirements can apply for Fast Track Admissions to Loyola’s Emerging Leaders MBA (“ELMBA)” program.

McDaniel College

Students in SU’s Human Services program can begin taking graduate courses at Stevenson while completing their bachelor’s degree and then complete a Master of Science at McDaniel in 1 year.

University of Baltimore

Students in SU’s Legal Studies major who meet specific requirements can participate in a 3+3 program where they can complete three years at SU, begin attending University of Baltimore School of Law, and receive their BS in Legal Studies from Stevenson after completing their first year at UB.

Widener University Delaware

Stevenson students who meet specific requirements are eligible to attend Delaware Law to complete a juris doctor degree. Two special admissions programs are established: 

  • a 3+3 Early Admission Program for students enrolled in Stevenson’s Legal Studies Program, and  
  • an Express or Guaranteed Admission Program for all eligible Stevenson students. All Stevenson students who are accepted into either program may also secure a renewable merit scholarship award.

Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy

Students in SU’s Biochemistry major who meet specific requirements can participate in a 3+4 program where students can complete three years at SU, begin attending Shenandoah, and receive their BS in Biochemistry from Stevenson after completing their first year at Shenandoah.

Priority status for admission is given to five selected Stevenson students each year.

University of Maryland

School of Pharmacy

Students in SU’s Chemistry major who meet specific requirements can participate in a 3+4 program where students can complete three years at SU, begin attending UM Pharmacy School, and receive their BS in Chemistry from Stevenson after completing their first year at UM.
