Michelle Dennis has been awarded a partial travel award that paid for her registration to attend a conference called Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS).
This conference will be held in Phoenix, Arizonia and is one of the largest, professional conferences for underrepresented minority students, military veterans, and persons with disabilities to pursue advanced training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Dennis will be attending this conference with Dr. Ingrid Tulloch and their lab team to present their research and learn about other current student projects. ABRCMS 2017 will showcase a wide range of products and services related to education, training sectors from the leading exhibitors such as biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, chemistry, developmental biology & genetics, engineering, physics & mathematics, immunology, microbiology, molecular & computational biology, neuroscience, physiology, social and behavioral science, and public health.
