Allie Bruns, known for being actively involved on campus in SAAC (Student Athletic Advisory Council), FMA (Financial Management Association Club), PsiChi the National Honor Society in Psychology, Whos Who Among Students and the National Society of Leadership and Success. When Bruns is not involved on campus, she is actively participating in the women’s hockey team here at Stevenson University. She has been playing hockey since she was seven years old. “I love hockey because I love the team aspect and how competitive it is,” said Bruns. “Hockey is also a good outlet for stress! It has taught me many life lessons like for example time management. I had to learn at a very young age how to manage my school work, my social life and hockey all at once.”

Bruns selected Stevenson, not only for their hockey team, but for the Psychology and Law program. “I love the psychology department because I feel like we are a family,” said Bruns. “The professors and my peers always push me to do my best and are always there for me when I need help. The professors in the psychology department want us to achieve our goals and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that happens.”

Bruns will be playing in a hockey game on November 10th at 7:00p.m. in the Reisterstown Sportsplex. Admissions to the game are free!
