Psychology is a discipline that has the privilege of being applicable in many fields. To give curious psychology students a better idea of their possible career goals, the Stevenson University Psychology Department hosted a career-oriented speed-dating event. A variety of fields in psychology were represented by employees who attended as a guest speaker: school, forensic, industrial/organizational, clinical, and counseling. Interestingly, some of these employees were alumni from Stevenson, and others worked as a Special Agent for the FBI, counseling, and more! These guests were invited to share about their experiences regarding their career, and students were able to gain further insight regarding their career paths.
