Dr. Iannone has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Scott Linzey Staff Award (for her work promoting the academic success of athletes) and the Building Community Award (for her work establishing the Faculty Development Conference).
Dr. Iannone teaches a very popular class on animal assisted therapy that includes a trip to the farm where students work with her horses. When she is not teaching she spends time at her private practice where she counsels adolescents and adults.
