Faculty and students alike–especially our students– are overjoyed to welcome Professor Jamie Goodall to Stevenson’s Department of Public History. Our program is pleased that Professor Goodall chose Stevenson University as the institution where she could practice her public history. Her areas of interest will be crucial to the future success of our department as we move forward to creating one of the most respected undergraduate public history programs in the United States. Her interests include public history, maritime history, and the economic history of Atlantic trade in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Having already participated in our field trips to Gettysburg and the Carroll County Farm Museum, Professor Goodall has proven her ability to withstand rain, wind, searing sun, hunger, thirst, sleep deprivation, and the incessant mutterings of the department chair. Good job, Professor Goodall. Welcome aboard!!!
