Public History major Stephanie Czeslowski has been invited to speak at this year's National Conference on Undergraduate Education (NCUR 2019). Taking place outside of Atlanta, in Kennesaw, Georgia, Czeslowski will speak about battlefield accessibility for visitors. To the extent our nation's battlefields are primary sources for studying a battle, accessibility is crucial to understanding the effects of the terrain on the conduct of the battle.

The Stevenson delegation to the conference will be at NCUR 2019 for three days. Flights, hotel, rental car, meals, and registration are paid for out of the Public History Program's budget. Students attend for free. This is the sixth year in a row that a Stevenson Public History major has been invited to speak at an NCUR conference.
