Assistant Professor Alissa Jones will now be our dedicated internship coordinator for the Art & Visual Communication Design department. Alissa has been teaching graphic design courses at Stevenson since Fall 2010. Beyond her familiarity with the University, Alissa brings a wealth of professional networking and design experience to this position including four years of previous service on the AIGA Baltimore Board of Directors, including as president from 2011–2013. Alissa is also a freelance designer whose clients include the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Maryland Society for Sight, and the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education. Previously, Ms. Jones was a graphic designer for CNN Headline News and design director at Six Red Marbles.
