Stevenson University’s FMI Club is once again running its annual Stevie U 72 Film Festival. Filming and editing will take place Friday, November 12 (starting at 2pm), through Monday, November 15 (ending at 2pm). We will then screen the films on Friday, November 19, in the School of Design Soundstage (SD101) and virtually via BlueJeans. Sponsored and presented by Canon USA, this event is open to all, with restrictions explained in the next paragraph.

Because of COVID-related social-distancing requirements, anyone wishing to attend in person needs to sign up to do so here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/F9HRDFT. If you are unable to sign up in time or wish to attend virtually, here is a link to the event on BlueJeans: https://bluejeans.com/123532603/2652 .

Once the films are submitted on Monday, November 15, our three participating judges––Stevenson University President Elliot Hirshman, FMI alumna Robin Christine Farrell (Class of 2008) and local cinematographer Quinn Woverton––will watch the movies and choose their Top 3, which will each receive donated prizes from our sponsor, Canon, as well as additional gift cards. At the end of the screening on Friday, November 19, the audience (both in the Soundstage and virtual) will then vote on their favorite, which will also receive a prize.

See you on the 19th!
