This year’s Stevenson University Film & Moving Image 72-Hour Film Festival ran Nov. 15-18. We screened the completed films on November 22. There were no genres this year, but contestants had to include the following three things in each submission: 1) A rubber duck; 2) An extreme close-up; 3)A line of foreign dialogue

Once the nine completed films were submitted on Monday, November 18, our three participating judges—Stevenson University President Elliot Hirshman, FMI alumna Caitlyn Thomas (Class of 2019), and Frederick, MD-based filmmaker Jordan Holt—watched the movies and chose their Top 3. At the end of the screening on Friday, November 22, the audience then voted on their favorite, which received the audience award. Prizes consisted of Amazon gift cards and swag bags donated by our sponsor, Canon.

All credits for each film can be found within the actual movie or listed below the Vimeo file.

First place and audience award went to Duck YouTube. Second place went to Max. Third place went to Vita Exolvuntur. Congratulations to the winners and all participants.
