The 1990’s are making a comeback with Stevenson University’s top, upcoming fall fashion trend. Originating from the 90’s grunge era, this look is now worn with anything from a dress to a tee shirt and jeans. Tying flannel and chambray/denim shirts around the waist is a quick way to add personality to a simple outfit and can be worn by both genders.

This popular look, seen on celebrities such as Rihanna and Kanye West, has been spotted at parties as well as casual days around campus. Ladies can dress it up by pairing their favorite dress with ankle boots and stockings, or dress it down by wearing it with Converse sneakers and a jean jacket. Men can dress it up by pairing it with a black V-neck and black jeans or dress it down by simply pairing it with their typical tee shirt and jeans. For more inspiration, be sure to look out for this trend around campus this fall!
