[Fashion Design Studio Manager Ms. Erika Yuille with Program Coordinator, Associate Professor Sally M. Di Marco]

We would like to congratulate Ms. Erika Yuille for her promotion from Fashion Design Technician to Fashion Design Studio Manager! Her new role will consist of supervising the Fashion Design Technicians as well as a Work-Study student assigned to the program.

Ms. Yuille will provide assistance to the technicians and work-study student in all of the technical fashion design classes, as well as during the Open Studio periods. Encouraged and trained by both grandmothers, Ms. Yuille, has been transforming raw materials into finished products since she was five years old.

In 2007, she earned her AS in Fashion Design under the instruction of our program coordinator Sally Di Marco, who invited Erika to tutor, and later to teach, basic and advanced sewing, and tailoring as an adjunct upon her graduation. She also provided all the photographs for Ms. DiMarco’s book, “Basic Draping.” We are very excited to work with, and learn from, Ms. Erika in her new role!
