During the University’s annual spring break, Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising students were accompanied by the head of the program, Mr. Bell, and full time Professor, Ms. Simpson, to study abroad in London and Paris!!
During their week-long trip they went to famous landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and the Eiffel Tower, they visited the Victoria and Albert museum where they saw the exquisite Christian Dior exhibit, and got to see Harrods and Liberty of London. They had the opportunity to speak with employees at the Holland and Sherry showroom and attended a lecture on Haute Couture at the House of Lesage. They went to the Yves Saint Laurent museum where they glimpsed stunning designs and even Yves’ mock studio. Of course, all of these wonderful adventures took place in between eating amazing delicious foods and shopping!
Our students and faculty had an amazing trip, full of wonderful experiences that they will never forget!
