My name is Bianca Johnson, I am a Fashion Merchandising student, and I am here to tell you that there are many exciting events that go on during homecoming week at Stevenson University!
From the Mr. and Mrs. SU pageant, to the role reversing Powder Puff game, there are many ways to get involved during homecoming week at Stevenson University! One interesting and exciting homecoming event isthe SU Bonfire. A huge pile of wood is built then burned to create a huge fire. The fire can be seen from across the campus! Trendy music, dance routines, s’mores, and bull-riding are all happening at this event!
Many students dress to impress when attending the bonfire. You can dress sporty-casual or dress in your trendy outfit for the summer/fall transition.
Another tasty event is the Chili-making contest held in Rockland. Contestants try to make their best chili and the winner is decided by a voting poll. (The chili I tried had bacon in it!) Students are the taste testers and voters that determine the winner! There are a wide variety of events to attend at Stevenson University!
