On May 10, 2016, the School of Education celebrated the Class of 2016 with a congratulatory dinner. In attendance were graduating interns, Education faculty, internship mentors, Dr. Deborah Kraft (Dean of the School of Education), and Dr. Paul D. Lack (Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs).

Interns shared recollections about their years in the program and expressed appreciation to faculty and mentors for their support and encouragement.

Barbara Lutz, mentor and Professional Learning Community Coordinator, presented interns with PLC certificates for participating in professional learning activities. Nineteen interns earned a certificate for exceeding PLC expectations: Victoria Abrecht, Jessica Arminio, Amanda Bertram, Laura Carey, Ruth Casadevall, Amber Cook, Jolena Frankenfeld, Laura Gordon, Judy Hemler, Jordyn Hoffman, Lauren Legnaioli, Amanda Meskill, Stephanie Miele, Megan Polis, Kyle Pottieger, Trevor Rill, Brittany Somers, Gina Weber, and Kendall Zickefoose. Seven interns received a certificate for meeting expectations: Hannah Currens, Rachel Harris, Kelly McKenzie, Avery Noyes, Kelsey Shirey, Milvelis Vargas, and Samantha Atwell.
