Eight interns from Stevenson University have been named as 2019 Maryland Teachers of Promise. These teacher candidates have been identified as among the most promising and gifted pre-service educators who plan to teach in Maryland beginning Fall 2019.

In addition to being invited to attend the Teachers of Promise Institute, each intern will be paired with an award-winning veteran teacher mentor (Teacher of the Year, Milken National Educator, Blue Ribbon School master teacher, etc.) who will act as an online mentor during the transition period from senior class student to teacher. This is truly an honorable recognition. Congratulations!
