Biochemistry alum (BS’18) Angelica Lackey has been honored with the Brett J. Pearce and Lauren K. Brown Memorial Award, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, “which honors a senior medical student who shares their qualities of generosity and compassion for those in need, dedication to service, and unwavering commitment to high ideals”.
