The Stevenson Summer Science Scholars Program (S3RP for short) has kicked off on the Owings Mills North Campus. Students complete 10-week intensive research or field internships under the direct guidance of a full-time SU Science Faculty member. These are competitive internships for which students can apply for the summer after their junior year. To be eligible for the program students: must be entering the 3rd or 4th year of their degree program, must have earned a 3.3 cumulative and major GPA, and students must complete an application package before the deadline. A selection committee then chooses the S3RP finalists. Pictured are some of the summer chemistry students with faculty mentor Dr. Will Harrell.
