Senior Amy Sharfman is completing her second Stevenson internship, this one with the Maryland affiliate of Susan G. Komen, a non-profit foundation that educates, supports research, provides financial and emotional assistance and advocates for better breast cancer policy. Under the supervision of Kim Schmulowitz, the communication and marketing director (on the left in the photo), and Lauren Pichotta, the communications and marketing manager (far right in the photo), Amy has been providing the foundation support in the areas of research, media, organization and writing. She will also be helping with Race for the Cure race-day organization and event management.
