Senior Katlyn Lamp (on the left in the photo) is completing a year-long internship at Sagamore Farms, a lovely rural site in Baltimore county. From the website: “Founded in 1925, Sagamore Farm was developed into a world renowned racing and breeding operation by Alfred G. Vanderbilt, Jr. from 1933 – 1986. In 2007, Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a Maryland native, purchased the 530-acre farm, where today, it has 40 horses in training – 13 of which are currently racing.” Katlyn’s job in media, marketing and events has provided her with a wealth of experience under the expert mentorship of Jocelyn Brooks. From tweeting about the new foals, to creating interest in a bi-weekly newsletter, to helping with Sagamore events, Katlyn has had a busy spring.
