The first-year seminar students in two freshmen communication courses, taught by Dr. Deric Greene and Professor Stephanie Verni, executed 97 acts of kindness as part of Mustangs Make A Difference Day. In past years, Mustangs Make A Difference Day took place on one particular day. However, due to coronavirus restrictions, the first-year seminars—all of them across every discipline at Stevenson including communication programs—participated in the “random acts of kindness” initiative. Over 1,000 acts of kindness were practiced all together at the university. Dr. Greene and Professor Verni are very proud of their first-year communication students and what they’ve accomplished during their first semester as Mustangs!
