Senior Alaina Peterson (second from the right in this photo taken in Galway) traveled to Ireland in March 2014 with 20 other students in an Advanced Intercultural Communication class, and fell instantly in love with the west coast city of Galway.
Sitting in on an information session at the National University of Galway convinced her that a semester of study in Ireland would be a perfect complement to her Business Communication major. She applied to the university and was accepted, so this fall, Alaina will study marketing at NUI Galway, living in shared housing and walking the cobblestone streets of Galway as she experiences the culture there for four months, earning credits towards her SU degree.
