BizComm alum Dottie Hudson Barber was inducted into the 2014 Stevenson University Hall of Fame’s first class. Barber graduated in the Villa Julie class of 2000.
She was a two-sport athlete, participating in field hockey and track and field. She was a three-time NFHCA All-Academic Squad selection and was the captain of the field of the field hockey team for two years.
In her three years of indoor track, she was voted MVP each year. In 2000 she qualified for the 55 meters at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. She was named the school’s Most Outstanding Female Athlete and the NCAA Woman of the Year honoree.
