A hearty congratulations goes out to Business Communication alum Brittany Bangert (class of 2010) whose first run at the Boston Marathon was a successful, if soggy, one.
She writes, “I don’t think anyone’s training could have really prepared for those conditions but it was definitely the greatest gut and grit test I’ve ever had… Crossing that line was so gratifying, it’s hard to describe, but the worst was by far the three hours of shivering after. Never been so grateful for a hot shower, warm blanket and hot chocolate. So many of you have reached out – and thanks for that, it means the world and I thought of all of you throughout.”
