The Department of Communication at Stevenson University congratulates alum Nick Farano, MBA, for earning his CFRE credential. The Certified Fund Raising Executive international exam is a rigorous written examination that draws upon the demonstrated abilities of fundraising executives. Nick is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-DC) Washington, DC Metro Area Chapter.
The CFRE credential “identifies for the public and for employers those individuals who possess the knowledge, skills, and commitment to perform fundraising duties in an effective and ethical manner,” according to CFRE international president and CEO Eva E. Aldrich. There are over 7,200 professionals around the world who have earned this designation.
Nick is a 2012 graduate of Stevenson and the Senior Director of Development, Marketing, and Technology at Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington.
