Applied Mathematics major Gerald Roman-Gonzalez and math professors, Dr. Mark Branson (center) and Dr. Benjamin Wilson, visited Frostburg State University on April 28-29, 2017 for the Spring 2017 Mathematical Association of America MD-DC-VA Sectional math conference. Gerald and Dr. Branson both presented their research.

The Department of Mathematics and Physics was pleased to host the 2nd Annual Spring Spectacular! We had over 200 participants and everyone enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of math and science games and demos! Special thanks to math faculty, Dr. Ben Wilson, who organized the event, and the many applied math majors who volunteered to run the various events.
