As a great experiential resource for Stevenson undergraduates in our B.S. in Legal Studies program, the university’s Francis X. Pugh Courtroom lets our students practice law hands-on in a real courtroom environment and provides our award-winning Mock Trial Team a practice space for upcoming trials and competitions.
For Stevenson’s Legal Studies students, mock trials provide the practical experience needed to make their classroom studies come to life and prepare students for careers in the legal field. Our Mock Trial Teams have won numerous competitions and awards.
Students from Stevenson’s Criminal Justice program organized a community event, Code Blue: Behind The Line. The event combined research from students in the Criminal Justice, Psychology and Biochemistry programs along with guest speakers from local and national law enforcement agencies.
