
Dr. Takisha Toler, Assistant Professor of Marketing, hosted over 70 minority marketing faculty from across the US at the 10th annual Marketing Ethnic Faculty Association (MEFA) conference and gala in Boston, Mass. MEFA’s mission is to promote the professional/career development of under-represented ethnic faculty in marketing and related business disciplines.
With the primary goal of providing a supportive networks to individuals of African American, Hispanic and Native American heritage, MEFA is based on shared teaching, research or other professional interests in the field of marketing. Dr. Toler has served as president of MEFA for the past three years and works to foster greater awareness and appreciation of racial, ethnic and cultural diversity in Business Schools and other higher education institutions within the US and abroad.
