Employment Verification

Personnel employment information on present and former employees will be released only to individuals/organizations having a legitimate need for the information requested. To ensure accuracy and consistency in the release of information, all inquiries shall be in writing and referred to Human Resources for response. Information released by Human Resources will be restricted to the guidelines outlined below except as otherwise required by court order or subpoena or by written authorization from the employee:

  1. Whether the University employs the individual
  2. Present job title or, in the case of former employee, the last position held
  3. Dates of employment
