Biochemistry rising sophomore, Alexia Smith, is serving as an OWL (Orientation and Welcome Leader) this summer. In this position, Alexia will give tours of SU over the summer and be an assistant at orientation.

This summer, Biochemistry senior, Nicole Wenzel, is completing her Capstone internship with the New Jersey State Police. The first task that she worked on was a PDQ (Paint Data Query) project.

Congratulations to Biochemistry Alum, Aaron Dixon on being honored with the The Orsia F. Young Leadership Award at the SU Graduation.

The Study Abroad group visited an Andian medical clinic, Jambi Huasi in the Otovalo highlands. Here they learned about the traditional approaches to healthcare in the community.

The Chemistry Department is excited about our new articulation agreement with Carroll Community College! Students who earn a Physical Science AS with Chemistry can transfer to Stevenson's Chemistry or Biochemistry majors.
