Stevenson’s Film & Moving Image (FMI) Department will host, October 26-28, Eileen Meyer as our Fall 2016 Artist-in-Residence. Meyer is a documentary film editor in Los Angeles. In 2016, she was awarded the Karen Schmeer Editing Fellowship and was nominated for the Cinema Eye Honors “Outstanding Achievement in Editing” Award for her latest film, Best of Enemies. The film was also a 2015 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize nominee and on the 2016 Academy Award shortlist for Best Documentary.

In addition to visiting classes, Meyer will present a lecture on her work on Thursday, October 27, at 7pm in the Soundstage (SD101) in the School of Design Building (11100 Ted Herget Way, Owings Mills, MD 21117) on our Owings Mills North campus, with a 6pm reception beforehand in the lobby of that same building. The event is open and free to all.
