We would like to send a warm welcome to both our new and returning students! There are many exciting events that fashion design majors will be participating in this semester such as the Lego Challenge, the Student Bridal Exhibition, and the “We Are One in Fashion” exhibit.
The Lego Challenge encourages participation from all First Year Seminar classes to construct their version of Career Architecture out of Lego’s. This event will be held in the Owings Mills Gym on Friday, November 7th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
An Opening reception will take place at the Cheri Amour Boutique in Savage Mill, Maryland on Thursday, November 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., where the Student Bridal Exhibition will feature repurposed wedding gowns created by the students enrolled in the FDES 417 Fashion Design Internship class.
“We Are One in Fashion” is an exhibition of original fashions created by the junior fashion design majors who were influenced by the traditional garments of foreign countries. These beautiful garments will be displayed at the Saint Paul Pavilion on the Greenspring campus. Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday, December, 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
