This past Wednesday, November 14th, the Fashion Apparel and Design club (FAD), with the assistance of Fara, the Senior Fashion Design Technician, worked for several hours to make dog beds, which were to bedonated to a local animal shelter.
Cute and soft dog inspired fabrics were purchased for the outer layer of the beds, and the insides were stuffed with scrap fabric that the fashion department has been collecting for several semesters for this very purpose.
The FAD club sewed and stuffed 20 beds for small, medium, and large doggies, and the beds were then donated to Barcs: Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter.
We hope these rescued pups love their new cozy beds!!
