In honor of International Pi Day, on March 14 students and faculty in the School of Education participated in a number of fun “Pi-related” activities. Assistant Professor Beth Kobett and Dean of the School of Education Debby Kraft baked a variety of home-made pies for students and faculty to enjoy while participating in activities such as learning about the history of Pi, reading children’s books about Pi, making a link in the Pi chain, creating a Pi sequence table with yarn, and searching your birthdate in the Pi sequence. Pie-themed music played in the background. We all learned a great deal more about Pi while enjoying delicious pie treats!
