First Year Seminar education students participated in a semester-long book study on the book, I Wish My Teacher Knew by Kyle Schwarz.  FYS students asked over 300 students to respond to the prompt, “I Wish My Teacher Knew…” They analyzed the responses, organized them into themes, and displayed the anonymous responses in the Education hall. Their display was presented at the Paul D. Lack Scholars Showcase on April 28.

Masters of Arts in Teaching intern, Guiliana Datnoff, conducted an action research study, “The Impact of Whole Class Discussion on Student Confidence in Mathematics,” conducted in her internship at Pikesville High School. Her poster was also presented at the Scholars Showcase.
