On Saturday, February 13, 2016, the School of Education welcomed over twenty Future Stevenson Scholars and their families to the Greenspring Campus. After lunch and a welcome from Stevenson University President, Dr. Kevin Manning, the prospective students and families gathered in the Pavilion to hear about Education programs.
School of Education graduates Janel Frazier (Class of ‘13) and Emily DeLawder (Class of ’14) reflected on their preparation for a career in teaching.

Following their presentations, current students (freshmen Gabby McGuire and Maureen Gast, juniors Kaitlyn Madigan and Emilee Thursby, and seniors Tori Eyler, Rachel Lang, Jane Yee and Jess Arminio) facilitated ‘get to know you’ activities and then conducted a panel discussion to share examples of why they chose to attend Stevenson. The program closed with prospective students and their families engaging in individual conversations with Education faculty.
