Three Education students decorated the Education classroom door to celebrate three themes for April: Autism Awareness, Month of the Military Child, and National Children’s Book Day.

Ashley Payton, Gabby Reyes, and Grace Polak ’25 designed the door to inform on all three themes. Facts about autism are posted as puzzle pieces, photos and stickers call attention to children of military families, and several mini-reproductions of children’s books celebrate that day.

In addition, the students created a display of children’s books called, “This is the Year We Learn to Fly,” which exhibits the same books represented on the classroom door to use as resources.
