
Faculty and administrators in the School of the Sciences attended the 2016 Capital PKAL Regional Network Conference on Creating Learning Environments: Valuing Diversity, Improving Retention and Promoting Persistence for Students in STEM. Everyone learned new ideas on these topics and brought back great ideas for use at SU. In addition, the networking opportunities at the conference allowed for collaborations between universities in the Baltimore-Washington area.
