Faculty in the department of Business Communication who teach Public Speaking will meet at 6 p.m. on August 5 for dinner and conversation about the course. This yearly meeting allows new faculty to meet the those who have been teaching at Stevenson, and gives all the chance to share teaching tips and speaking suggestions.
The dinner meeting always marks the start of the fall semester as faculty conclude work on syllabi and activities for the upcoming term.
