BricknFire Pizza Co., established in 2014 by SU BizComm alum Megan Lanasa and Trey Kirby, is the winner of a regional competition for restaurant concepts held by the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards.

Looks like graduate school is the choice of several BizComms for the fall. Amy Sharfman will be among the initial cohort at Stevenson University's Master's program in Communication Studies that will begin this fall.

Congratulations to Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus for the early publication of her sabbatical work in the journal Communication Education (Taylor & Francis), an important scholarly journal in the field of communication.
