Sophomore Darell Bolding spent the summer at Cooper Medical School, at Rowan University in NJ, participating in the Pulse program (Pre Medical Urban Leaders Summer Enrichment program). During the 7 week program, he took courses in microbiology and general chemistry, and participated in workshops. He was also able to shadow a wide variety of health care professionals including physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, and more. He during this time he researched and presented a poster, “Improving community relations through awareness of urban farming”, for which he won an award. Congratulations Darell!
