I like to model kindness and compassion in my classroom. Mathematics can be daunting to a lot of students, as each student comes from different backgrounds. My teaching goals focus on establishing a good rapport with students and then challenging them at each step. I like to have a very interactive class where the students are allowed to make mistakes and give wrong answers. But at the end of each class, they have learned something new, either a new method, new concept, or a new way of looking at Math.
