Welcome to the Brown School of Business and Leadership at Stevenson University!

Whether you are a prospective student, employer, or community stakeholder, I am delighted that you have taken the time to visit this page and consider Stevenson University as your educational partner.  At the Brown School of Business and Leadership, we pride ourselves on offering a range of career-oriented educational programs and services designed to meet the needs of students, employers, and the broader community.

Our mission is clear: to prepare students to excel in their chosen fields and emerge as leaders in their communities. Our dedicated faculty create a nurturing learning environment, offering hands-on experiences and sharing their business expertise with students so that future generations of professionals can “hit the ground running” as soon as they start working for their employers.        

The school offers seven undergraduate degree programs and three graduate degree programs that prepare students for careers in various business and technology fields.  Each program’s curriculum was thoughtfully developed and is periodically updated in collaboration with our industry advisory board members, ensuring our graduates meet and exceed employer expectations.  I am proud to share that our five business programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education, and our technology-based programs operate under the prestigious National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) designation from the U.S. Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center. 

As a career-oriented university, we focus on providing experiential learning opportunities to our students, such as investing money in the D. Starliper Applied Finance Lab and working with real-world clients, such as the Baltimore Ravens, on different projects.  Additionally, we are committed to community engagement by offering financial literacy and cybersecurity education and involving our students in service-learning collaborations with K-12 students and other interested stakeholder groups.
