Digital Marketing major Emelia Weir published an article for Sass Magazine in Frederick, MD as part of her internship with the magazine. Emelia’s article can be read here: Becoming a Resilient Woman
Emelia is currently doing a semester long internship with Sass where in addition to researching and writing articles, she assists with managing and creating content for their social media campaigns.
Emelia states that she has been using many of the skills she learned in MKT 320 – Social Media Marketing including making editorial calendars, creating email marketing campaigns, and creating Facebook and Instagram posts. She’s also implementing many of the other skills she learned in marketing classes at Stevenson including search engine optimization (SEO), market research, integrated marketing communications, and content creation.
She loves her internship and is confident that she chose the right career path. Congrats Emelia! Keep up the great work!
