Aloha from Hawaii: Stevenson University Environmental Science Students Travel to The Big Island to Learn and Explore
On Jan. 5, 2017, students from Stevenson’s Environmental Science Field Studies class landed in warm and sunny Hawaii! So far, the students have explored the island of Oahu, hiked and biked their way to Diamond Head and Manoa falls, attended a fish auction, visited NOAA, and experienced a traditional Hawaiian Luau.

During their fifteen days abroad, students will learn all they can about Hawaiian culture, flora, and fauna, allowing them to return to Baltimore with a better understanding of the island’s natural environment.
The Hawaiian adventure comes to an end Jan. 19, 2017, when students depart back home to Stevenson University.
